Understanding who we are and strengthening our relationship with our Heavenly Father

“We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost” (Articles of Faith 1:1).

How can personal prayer and scripture study strengthen our relationship with Heavenly Father?

Consider the following scriptures and think about personal experiences you could share with others.

• Prayer: Enos 1:1–7; Alma 37:35–37
• Scripture study: 2 Nephi 32:3; Helaman 3:29–30
• What goals can we set as youth in the Herriman South Stake that will help us read the scriptures and pray every day?
• How can we help each other reach our goals?
• Share your testimony that we are children of God and describe how this testimony guides our actions as youth in the Herriman South Stake.
• Think of one way you will use your gifts and talents to bless Heavenly Father’s children.
