DROP-OFF/PICK-UP INFORMATION
GUIDELINES
Youth attending must observe the standards found in the FOR THE STRENGTH OF YOUTH pamphlet. They need to follow safety rules, wear a seatbelt in vehicles, and show respect for all public and private properties. Curfew is at 11:00 p.m. Youth who choose to ignore these standards may be sent home early.
Youth may bring their cell phones if they would like. Other electronics such as iPads, laptops, etc are not allowed. Youth must be respectful with their cell phone use and follow guidance from leaders, looking for opportunities to use it for good. Cell phones are not to be used for games or as a distraction from the planned activities. Cell phone will be gathered each night to charge in another room.
MEDICAL & FOOD CONCERNS
All concerns should be noted on the registration form. Leaders will contact parents to make accommodations. Qualified medical personnel will be available for emergencies. Leaders will not be responsible for providing nursing care or dispensing medications. Youth with special medical needs should be able to care for themselves. If additional help is required then a parent (or another adult) will need to attend to help with care.
COSTUME
Everyone will wear a Book of Mormon costume! They will be made in a ward youth activity using extra fabric or a bed sheet provided by the participant.
FOR THE STRENGTH OF YOUTH CLOTHING STANDARDS
Immodest clothing is any clothing that is tight, sheer, or revealing in any manner. Young women should avoid short shorts and short skirts, shirts that do not cover the stomach, and clothing that does not cover the shoulders or is low-cut in the front or the back. Young men should also maintain modesty in their appearance. Young men and young women should be neat and clean and avoid being extreme or inappropriately casual in clothing, hairstyle, and behavior. They should choose appropriately modest apparel when participating in sports.
